Waira is developing a seven meter, low platform electric bus with independent suspension on the rear wheels. It will carry between 20 and 25 passengers, including people on wheelchairs and have a maximum speed of 60 Km/h, traveling up to 80 Km between charges.
The final aim of this project, which replaces oil use by clean energy, is to protect the environment and reduce transportation costs.
By creating an electric mobility alternative, Waira looks to increase the products and services offered on renewables use and generation.
This project is funded by Innóvate Perú and is developed together with the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP).
